Projects

Hi there.

I haven't posted about any of my projects for a while. I haven't been lazy, I have just been knocked down by a cold for a few days and didn't feel like blogging and taking pictures. As I mentioned in the previous posts, I rather spend my time on the sofa, exploring vintage blogs and watching catch up TV.

I am still a bit poorly but I need to get back on track. I am on my way to Germany on Saturday for a week to celebrate my mums 60th birthday. Happy birthday mum!!!!

Anyway, on to the pictures:

Halloele, es ist schon etwas her, dass ich einige Projekte von mir vorgestellt habe. Ich war nicht faul, sondern etwas ausser Kraft gesetzt, dank einer doofen Erkaeltung. Wie ich in den voherigen Posts schon erwaent habe, hab ich meine Zeit lieber auf dem Sofa verbracht und andere Blogs durchstoebert, sowie ein paar Fernsehserien aufgeholt.

Ich bin immer noch nicht ganz wieder hergestellt aber ich muss ich etwas zusammenreissen, da ich am Samstag nach Deutschland reisen werde um den 60sten Geburtstag von Mutti zu feiern.

So, auf zu meinen Projekten.



First of all some more tops. I had them finished for a while but never photographed them until now. They are still only on the dress form but that's good enough to finally show them off.

Als erstes ein paar Tops, die ich schon seit einiger Zeit fertig habe, jedoch noch nicht fotografiert hatte. Leider sind es nur Fotos von den Tops auf meiner Schneiderpuppe aber das reicht erstmal um sie vorzuzeigen.

I also ordered a bunch of new materials. Here's a little preview of what I am going to transform into clothing next. Some of the red printed cotton has been made into dresses already. Pictures will follow further down in this post.

Ich hab ausserdem wieder eine neue Ladung Stoffe bestellt. Hier ist eine Vorschau von dem, was ich in der naechsten Zeit wieder in Kleidung umwandeln werde. Die roten Baumwollstoffe habe ich bereits zu Kleidern gemacht. Fotos folgen weiter unten im Blog.

These are 2 dresses made from the material above. I am still going to embellish them, they are not finished yet. The ivory Peter Pan collar has been made from an old bridal hem. Thank you work people for letting me take the rubbish home.

Hier sind die besagten Kleider. Ich werde sie noch etwas verziehren. Sie sind also noch nicht ganz fertig. Der weisse Kragen ist uebrigends aus einer alten Brautschleppe gemacht. Vielen Dank an meine Mitarbeiter im Laden, dass sie mich die Abfaelle mitnehmen lassen.

I also started making my first vintage crochet sweater/cardigan. But more about that next time.

Ich hab ausserdem angefangen meinen ersten Vintage Haekelpullover zu machen, aber davon berichte ich das naechste Mal.
