I finished his dress last week but as I said, I didn't have anyone to take pictures of me wearing it. I
wore it to the fair on Saturday. The pattern I used was one of the ones Andrea from Invisible Flower and I am sure I will make this again.
That's the pattern I used:I went for the pink rose print cotton I showed you in a previous post and made up view 2. I would have preferred view 1 because I love full skirts but I didn't have enough fabric.
And the finished product......
I found the handbag at the fair and had to have it. It's perfect with that dress and many others in my wardrobe.
I love shirt dresses as you all know so it's nice to have a slightly different pattern now.
And a close up of the top.
The wonderful Julie (who hates having her picture taken but I got her anyway) and me at Saturdays fair.
Great job. Cute print!!
ReplyDeleteYay! It looks gorgeous and just like the picture on the pattern!
ReplyDeleteI recognized some of the things you've posted recently in the pictures of your booth at the crafts fair. I don't know how you can bear to part with them, especially the gingham one with the lace at the neckline!
Thanks you two. I know, its hard sometimes but I am such a hoarder already........
ReplyDeleteThe good thing is that usually I can make things again if I miss them too much after they are gone.
I love your dress. It's beautiful.
