Helen's dress finished

I had my friend Helen around tonight for a final fitting and a little hair and make up trial to see it all come together She was over the moon with the finished dress and so was I she looks absolutely stunning in it. I hope she gets to twirl a lot in it.

  8. Hi, may I know where you got the pattern for the dress from? I'm very new to sewing and I'm trying to make myself a dress like that. I already got the fabric so I just need the pattern and instructions. Thanks in advance!

  9. What a great dress. And the fit is perfect for her. I hope she'll have lots of fun in that dress, but I guess that is a given looking like that :-)

  10. Thanks everyone again for all your wonderful feedback.
@Enru I didn't really use a pattern for it. The bodice front and back are from the same pattern I used for my birthday dress (see a few posts back) the skirt and halter are self drafted. It's a simple circle skirt and the halter is drafted following the neckline and back of the dress and then cut on the bias. I hope this helps.
